In life, one can have expectations i my self still do from time to time. However i think it is best if we just exist without expectations of any kind, what i mean is that instead of having preconceived notions, we simply allow ourselves to be present in any and all situations. Thus removing what we might think of them before having actually experienced them, which in essence i believe allows us to enjoy what IS rather than what we expect or hope it to be. I am sure something like this is probably difficult to do in some sense, but i believe it could be beneficial to all of us or to those who still live life with expectations in mind. I'll liken the soul of modern humans as mighty eagles who are grounded due to external forces.
How sad that the majority of eagles have been brainwashed to hate their own wings and do everything possible to live life avoiding using their wings and therefore we can only feed and progess thru life thru the lowest ways possible. By then we're looking at an odd behaving animal.
To a point many dont even believe in the existence of their own wings.
The Path of Zevism wakes us up to the fact eagles belong in the sky.
Cultivating their birthright each flight.
That too is our souls.
We wake up that we are meant to fly freely after growing up enough.
So we heal our wings for the time being. Looking up to the sky knowing we're taking our rightful place in the near future.

This started as a reply in the Fitness chat, but I didn't post as it derails too much:
I have martial artists and boxers in my family, and another Zevist wrote a while ago with the same agreement as in my family: with martial arts, you need to train for many years to be able to defend yourself; whereas with boxing, only 3 months.
So as an art form, yes martial arts is "better", but many men would benefit more from boxing and enjoy it more.
^This is a general statement, I'm not going to talk about self-defense for women, because it's not healthy for most of us to be in a martial mindset and always worrying about being attacked (it inhibits natural growth and expression of femininity). So yes all women probably should know some basics, but the world needs to change to get these invaders out of our lands, and laws need to change to allow for much harsher punishments for those who harm us. Look at all the hardcore feminists who act masculine; this world is currently not conducive for delicate femininity.
