So I've been practicing Void Meditation to help with concentration. I have now in my mind mastered the ability to relax my body which I got from a Lucid Dreaming site I've been reading that instructs to start from your toes and visualize them melting into the bed and work my way up. I tend to do it twice but the first "scan" of my entire body is already enough and I feel very relaxed.
Well to get to the point, after my body is completely relaxed I start focusing on my mind, I would visualize a black hole in my mind and not only visualize but feel the thoughts being sucked into it. After a few times of doing this the intruding thought disappears but as I keep breathing an entirely new thought comes in, I do the same with that one a new one comes in. I finish that one and technically I'm back at square cause the first thought I got rid of replaces the previous one. I have even visualized myself vacuuming the thoughts up with a vacuum cleaner and this is similar to the black hole method but still the same outcome.
So my question is, is it normal for my mind to do this? It's a little irritating but nothing over the top that I have to stop my meditation exercise cause I cant get rid of 3 individual thoughts. I'm using void meditation to improve concentration for visualization, which I have been struggling with but am seemingly getting better with small visualization techniques and now am able to relax my entire body with visualization and feel alone.
HAIL SATAN AND ALL THOSE ALLIED TO HIM
