Struggling with even the tiniest bits of Satanism

I seem to be incapable of using even a pendulum to contact any demon or spirit. I've spent the last hour practically begging my pendulum to give me some kind of signal (half of that was trying to find a lost object- a necklace which is VERY important to me which I cannot find even after two hours of normal searching- the other half occurred after I searched around the website and found the page on Guardian demons. I tried to get it to tell me the number of letters in its name to which I got 36 at which point I decided that was just the earth spinning my pendulum around. Prior to that the pendulum hit the side of the glass at the letter N and then at the letter H or I, pretty sure its H. Then I ran though the whole alphabet and nothing happened.). I can more or less meditate (I feel like I'm opening up my chakras and I've created a peaceful astral temple where I keep a fire burning to Satan at all times. Other than that, I've seen meager/negligible results to everything I've attempted. I can talk to Satan all day long but nothing has really come of that. So I'm pretty lost. I don't want to give up and I wont but it's rather frustrating.

I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for here. Probably just some support from you all.

Some other random information- I haven't formally made the commitment to Satan because I want to wait until I'm 18 and free from my parents (currently 17 1/2. Posting in this group because I get along with adults better than teens in most things). I've been unofficially committed to him for probably 3/4 of a year. I come from an agnostic/atheist background though I live in Utah and almost everyone in my family besides my parents are LDS. When I was younger I would pray to God and Jesus and the bunch with nothing to show for it so at some point I just gave up and never looked back.

Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated.

You've been attacked, IMO. (In my opinion)

If you haven't dedicated, you won't have your guardian demon. The reason I say attacked is because it seems like you want to give up. Don't give up, Satanism is for the strong. We're in it to win it. For now, at least try an aura of protection. I would advise that you dedicate before you do any power meditations, it really pisses the enemy off when you do them and you'll end up getting attacked.

Stay strong and keep studying.
