Saint Claus (klaas in dutch) and he fed the poor and hungry and stuff.
Google up St. Claus to find more about him, but he's just another saint, so I wouldn't bother. Although it's always good to learn as much as you can about every religion.

the legend came about cause he would visit a orphange in the winter many many years ago and leave the children lumps of coal
in short he was just a saint who went around leaving coal for needy kids so they would not freeze

I'm not being skeptical or anything but how is "Nick" another name for "Satan"? I googled a site on names and their meaning (http://www.behindthename.com) and it said "Nicholas" meant "victory of the people" while "Satan" means "enemy". I can see how "victory of the people" could relate to us, we being the people but it doesn't really bode well with "enemy" I think. A solution might be if our enemies knew him as "Satan" and we refer to him as "Nick": "By the power of Nick I call upon the demons of Duat!"
