A thought occurred to me the other day. You know the x-Ian phrase "trample on snakes and scorpions"? The kundalini is a SNAKE/serpentine energy, and the sign scorpio is a SCORPION. I wonder if it was made as a hit against these two things. Think about it. People with the sign of Scorpio have some pretty strong willpower and leaderships skills, not to mention a keen resistance towards being told what to do. Without all of the scorpios', not to mention ones that have risen their serpent, this world would probably be under a deeper spell of deception. Just a thought.

I don't know if Scorpio has a relevance here. But Scorpio not only rules sex, but also rules transformation. Scorpios go through multiple transformation in life. This also implies growth. Though I don't know if it has any relevance to the context, Scorpios can definitely realize higher levels of spirituality and power probably much easier than many other zodiac signs. This may also come due to our investigative nature, attraction towards occult (or the hidden things) and our quest for power..
