For one, this is my first time on a yahoo group page, so I'm not sure how to do everything, so... Anyway. I was born and raised catholic, and am currently Christian. HOWEVER, I'm not too sure if the religion I've chosen is the right one. It just isn't everything that people said it would be, and I find that god and Jesus AREN'T always here for me.
I've read up on the Joy of Satan site, and it seems a bit more right. I love the idea of the Maker having a personal interest in me, and actually being there for me, not just making empty promises.
So I guess my question is this- what is the difference between YOUR satanism and the perceived satanism? What is there to be gained that has been personally experienced? And by the way, I'm not trying to push any religion anywhere on anyone, I just want to learn, and maybe become one of you. If I can be convinced.

If you read the main site this question is already answered.
