any idea of some simple curses i can perform on my Xian worthless excuse of a brother preferably ones that damage him mentally to the point of severe retardation

Do what you have to do. If he is making your life a living nightmare then ehy not. But if mental retardation is your goal then just be aware of the consequences and what comes with that. You may have to take care of him or your living situation could change because of that. You can make your own spells just keep doing them until you see an effect.

you HAVE to think about the consequences in the long run, just because he is Xian doesn't mean he has no chance of learning the truth, mental retardation is VERY, VERY harsh. He is still Gentile (I suppose), I'd recommend a short-term type "revenge". Like spike his drink with laxative [again i'm going to assume you're young], reveal his secrets to a girl he likes, or plant something in his room that your parents wouldn't approve of. Don't destroy his life, although I don't understand the context of your disposition towards him.

well i am 21 living here is short term my context of my disposition is he is a lieing cheating thief with a smart ass attitude and i don't see him as a human being
