Who is Azrael really?

I have read that Azrael is "god's helper" and I'm pretty sure the god the author was referring to was Jehovah/Yahweh.One of the lines in a poen I once posted states "Yahweh's angels fall prey to the lethal scathing of their betrayal,writhing in agony they wish they'd chosen Andras over Azrael".Then earlier in tonight I was in a satanic chatroom and there was someone called "Azrael666".I thought that was weird so I questioned about this."Azrael666" didn't answer me but someone else did saying "wasn't Azrael the one who fell into darkness"or something like that(I'm not sure what that would have to do with Satan)So I was wondering if anybody on herre could officially clear this up,just who's side is Azrael on?...............HailSatan......shadowwhispr

Let me just mention something about the real Azrael. He is the angel of death, serving jehova (-el). I read Leilah Wendell's necromantic rites (the grimoire she wrote), where Azrael is the key figure, so to say. Before I became a Spiritual Satanist, I wanted to become a necromancer, which wouldn't be very hard (xianity everywhere, graveyards near, and the rites themselves weren't demanding). Now I wish to sell the grimoire, because I am a life-affirming human, not a xian.

I think it was called "Our name is melancholy", and the other title by her is "View from the Bridge", I believe. I have studied various Necromantic texts, including the above. I would say she is a jew fantasist with a possible relationship with an angelic entity, but much of it is incredibly misleading, has very little to do with any kind of Necromancy other than a Sprito-Erotic snare to reel in unsuspecting, hard up Solo Witches, Free minded (Sexually) New Agers and pretend pagans, to stir up the opposition against those who see through it and make her some dollar, oh whilst glorifying the Filthy azrael: "an angel whose name is found inscribed on the 5th pentacle of the moon." The angel of death in both Islam and Judaism.

Well Monie, I hate to tell you, but my knowledge of Azrael is strictly
academic. I do not know what he looks like, though my guess is that he
looks like most of them do blonde-haired and blue-eyed; that is the
appearance most of them seem to prefer. The entity I and this other
friend of mine dealt with (I asked for assistance in dispatching it,
as my love had no clue of what it truly was), resembled just such a
being. It was tall, with Aryan features; I assume they do this in
order to mock the Demons, but I don’t really know. Perhaps they are
just unimaginative. Lol. As for its presence, it was obviously
malignant; it wanted to hurt us, and to keep us from dispatching it. I
say it was rogue because it was not following Azrael’s orders; angels
of death, even lesser ones (which this scum was), never go after
people unless they are, shall we say, at death’s door. So this little
bastard just decided to go after my love for the hell of it. That’s
about all the info I can give you. Sorry I can’t be more specific! Why
do you wish to know, anyway? Just curious.
