The color white has been used to an extreme by newbies and new age people
because it is all-purpose and contains all of the colors of the spectrum and
is easy to work with.

White light, white candles and so forth are best used to repel or deflect
unwanted influences. Black absorbs and white deflects, same as with
clothing. In extremely hot environments, many people wear light colors to
deflect the heat as best they can- the same goes for working magick.
