Time for starting the Magnum Opus (question)

I have sent this question to HPs Maxine, but given she's probably very busy, maybe other advanced members can answer it too.

In at least two different pages on the JoS website, it says that the Magnum Opus should ideally be started in the spring, when the Sun is in Aries.

In the northern and southern hemispheres, the zodiac signs for each month are the same, but the seasons of the year are opposite.
I live in the southern hemisphere, so I'd like to know what matters here: the season (spring, when life force is strong), or the Sun being in Aries.

This information is for a work I've been doing, not because I want to start the Magnum Opus (I mean, I eventually want to, but I'm far from being ready for that haha).

Aldric, so does that mean that what counts is definitely the astrological sign (Aries), and not necessarily the season of the year (spring)?

So it's the sign of Aries that matters, not necessarily the season of the year.

That could also have been easily figured out from another page on the JoS that says the Magnum Opus has 12 stages and these are based on the zodiac signs. So by logic, the Magnum Opus starts where the zodiac starts
