Good day, Brother's and Sister's

I would like to confirm, is it the night of the 22nd December when one does a ritual to Father Satya?

I've been an SS / Zevist for a good few years, the first year I did a Ritual on the night of the 23rd on Father Satya's Day and remember reading some time afterwards (If I can remember correctly) that a ritual is to be done on the night of the 22nd. Ever since, every year, I do a ritual on the night of the 22nd. The other day the thought crossed my mind if I have been doing a ritual on the correct night as Father Satya's day is the 23rd of December. This excludes when we do Scheduled rituals during this time of the year.

I would also like to ask, my girlfriend is norse pagan and while she's open minded, we respect each other, she does her thing and I do mine. We don't do rituals or spells together as we differ.

She asked if she could watch me do a ritual to Father Satya during the Yule Season, without interfering or interacting, she just wants to watch. As she's curious. I know that doing a ritual to Father Satya is very personal and between oneself and Father Satya.

But wanted to ask if it would be okay for her to watch or if it would be best if she doesn't?

Hail Father Satya
Hail Father Zeus

Greetings, Brother.

I'm not sure which ritual you are referring to that "is to be done" on the night of the 22nd. Perhaps there is something, but it's just not occurring to me at the moment. But perhaps, you are just talking about the God Rituals we happen to be doing on power dates and holidays, of which Yule is the highest.

As for simply watching a ritual, it's fine. There's no harm to it, per se. That being said, I also think you could coax her into participating as well - considering that we use an ample amount of Runes, refer to Gods by their Norse names as well, etc. It should actually appeal to her a lot. Lastly, it's likely to distract your focus at least somewhat, so I wouldn't make a habit of doing this kind of thing very often. I do not think this is disrespectful or "not okay" on the Gods' end in any way, though - sincere Pagans who do not partake in enemy retardation are still our Brothers and Sisters. So, if you two decide to go through this in the manner you described, after all, have fun.

Happy blasting (Runes), Brother.

"YULE/WINTER SOLSTICE
December 22nd-23rd

Although the Solstice begins on the 21st-22nd of December, the 23rd is a very special Personal Day for Father. The Sun enters the sign of the Goat, which represents Zeus. The Night of December 22nd, the eve of December 23rd, is the Highest Zevic Holy Night of the year (this was dictated by Zeus personally). It is the day after the longest night of the year. Again, we look forward to beginnings, as the days will begin to get longer as the year goes on. This is a time for intense celebration and devotion to Lord Zeus, indulgence, decorating the home, family celebrations, and get-togethers. The Night of Dec. 22nd should be spent in dedication to Zeus. This is an excellent time to focus on planning for the year. If one wishes to make personal resolutions, this is a good time to do so.

At the high point of a ritual, personal resolutions can be written on paper and burned. Father Zeus is always there to help us in having the strength to carry through with our intentions. After the rite, intense celebrations should take place."

The 23rd is said to be Father's own personal day, so it is known to do something on the 22nd. The night before. At least I do. Not necessarily a ritual like we've been doing towards our Gods. But a day to give him thanks, and seek guidance for the upcoming year. Whatever you choose because this is personal.

Personally I wouldn't accept, as I feel it would interfere with my communication and energy of that Sacred Night.
Also it's more intimate than any relationship.

But it's your choice here.

"Pray to Lord Wodanaz, spend the night this way, I'm also with Him"
You can say this, or what you prefer.

Another thing is that day ends and start at rising of the Sun, and not at 00:00.
So technically it's the night of 24, but before the Sun rise, it's still spiritually and energetically the night of 23.

On the clock its 00:01 24 Dec, but spiritually the Sacred Night of 23, until around 7:30am on the clock, or when Sun rise.

If I am wrong, please correct me.
