On one of HP Maxine's Sermon CD's she mentions how that the Soul can be split as it's taken from the human body. So by doing this you learn how to separate the different aspects of your soul and put them back together again. For instance, separating the Light Body, Astral Body and Aura. This split can occur during death, if it was a violent death where you are frightened. For instance being shot, the jolt of it might cause your astral body to jump back separating it from your light body and your aura.
It is part of Kabalistic Meditation, meditating on multiple aspects at once, and is Ancient Egyptian in its origins. Astral projection is another very important experience that prepares the soul and mind for death, and can be useful in this life as well. Learning to astral project at will, learning and becoming familiar with the Astral.

Subject: [Advanced_Meditation] Splitting the soul
I've been looking through the meditations page and at this particularly. It's "dangerous to newbies", but other than that, nothing is really said about it. My question is, what purpose does this serve, I.e. what's the point of doing this, and how would this help me reach the Godhead? I don't think I'm quite ready spiritually to try this yet, but I'd like to know what I'm going to be getting into.
