My dog is a familiar too
Since i have him hes never on a lead always listening
Its summer now and the front door is open and he lies in the door opening
Does nothing on the people or cars passing by
but dont try to come in
The same if were going to the shops hes just walking two steps behind me totally not interrested waths happening around him just protecting me
Going into the shop hes lying outside waiting till im back out again
In the house if im in the bathroom or bedroom he lies douwn before the door and its for anybody imposible to get in
At six in the mornings he opens the bedroom door and going on the bed really quiet and lays down near me for an hour and then wakes me
The dog and i were telepathic i just look at him and he knows what i want or mean
Im into satanism for two years now and never seen any grays or other evil entities
Have dog for two and a half years now
In the beginning i have heard him protecting me at night time but for the last 1 1/2 year its quiet at nights

I have read on the JoS site about familiars, and my dog seems to fit the description well, he is incredibly protective especially of me, but he's a farm bred great pyraneas so that might just be natural, and I noticed a couple days ago when I was alone with him in my living room a couple days ago and this weird sound kept moving around the room he woke up and looked in the direction of the sound then laid back down, as if he didn't mind the invisible source of the sound, and this is a dog who's favorite activity is to bark at unfamiliar people and animals. So I wanted to know if my dog could be a familiar because the description sounds rite and the bond we share is great so I wanted to ask for people who have familiars does this sound correct and how did you know your pet was a familiar?
