Question #1895: Removing fear from childhood trauma

Can I get some advice on how to remove childhood trauma of getting physically abused by a parent and older sibling?

I am a naturally skilled fighter that started late into learning martial arts. Better late than never.

During normal sparring I have lots of fun and can get into the "zone" very easily and excel to say the least but during an altercation/confrontation/heated argument I get very anxious and nervous.

I have pin pointed this to derive from when I used to be a child who not only didn't know how to defend themselves especially against a way bigger person but not being able to because of who they were to me.

They would take their anger out on me or didn't let me get mad and if I did they would hit me.

This caused other issues obviously like anger problems but fortunately I have worked on that and been very successful thanks to the practices I learned from this place.

The only thing that seems to linger now is what I mentioned above.

I don't want this trauma to bleed over at my gyms as it as it would be annoying especially since I know I am a good fighter but the trauma will affect me physically to where what I learn might fly out the window if the sparring gets too serious or fight against someone very mad out in the streets or something similar.

3. Affirm 9 times:
