Problems with the Dedication Ritual.

Hello. Does the Dedication Ritual have to be done exactly like it says or do you have to do the Standard Ritual and then say the prayer which you wrote out loud? I'm confused because I don't know if I should just light the candles and write out the prayer or if I should or can make a big ritual out of it. I'm having ocd about it and my ocd is making me think it wasnt valid so I keep repeating the ritual. Please give me guidance.

Here are some comforting words from Johnson Akemi:

If you cannot find the right candle color, forget the "so mote it be" at the end, or make some other minor error, that will not derail your Dedication Ritual. Satan is extremely understanding, unlike the christian god who will throw you into a pit of fire for every little thing, and is not going to come after you for extremely trivial errors. As long as your blood is on the paper and you genuinely want to dedicate yourself to Satan, your Dedication Ritual was valid.

Do what is written on the site! You can read aloud or in your mind, the important thing is to extract at least one drop of blood of index finger of the left hand, sign your name and burn the paper.
You can write the Dedication with normal pen.

Will be valid.

You DON'T need to keep doing it over. Just a drop of blood on your signature. Word it the way Maxine said.
Recite it out loud, light it with a candle, preferably black, but if you don't have black, any will do. It is what
is in the heart and intent that counts.

There's only a need to do the ritual once. If you did it as it was on the Dedicate your Soul to Satan part then you are Dedicated. If you did not have a bowl, or candle that is fine. It's what is in your heart that matters the most, if you were sincere then congratulations.

Thank you. I just needed someone to confirm what is the right way. It took me awhile to perform the ceremony because I needed to aquire candles and paper and all that but now I'm good. Thank you. Ave Satanas.
