I found out that im basically a natural at void meditation as well as the advanced void meditation. I just realized I've been doing what is called void meditation since i was 10 i think (18 now). I use to basically zone out and focus on a tree outside clearing my mind of all thoughts all the time. Is "zoning out" at void meditation the same thing, btw? I tend to have a bad habit of this at school because in one of my classes there's a tree right outside the window and I'll most of time look in its direction and just POOF. Eventually someone will snap at me to get me out of the trance. I can also manage to become completely still in this process as well as go to sleep with my eyes open BUT still conscious at the same giving my body a rest but still aware of what's going on. I also say that im a natural at void meditation and the advanced part because i use to always think of an image (sometimes a girl i thought was cute in school hehe) and just hold it in mind as long as i want. I can also focus on emotions and feel how my body reacts. I can also focus on a taste very easily and taste it( i do this whenever im hungry to feed the thought and stop my hunger until i do eat. I call a "mind snack". Lol). My best and favorite trick out of all the things i can do with my mind is throwing myself into a winter setting during the summer and summer setting during the winter. I do this of course when it's hot then I'll tease other students asking them are they hot and I'll just always tell them "just focus on how it's hot, think or imagine yourself in a cold (blah blah blah) eating a popsicle or something". Apparently im the only one who can do stuff like that in my area. I like to challenge myself to putting myself in a sunmer setting when its REALLLY COLD. People be looking at me crazy saying "I know yo ass cold." I just look at them and laugh, but the moment they mention the word "COLD" is when i feel a nip and summee setting starts to unfold.
