Makeshift black candle

question. indeed black candles are hard to come by. but what if you took a white candle and painted it black or colored it black with a marker or something? this is in terms of a standard ritual. or then again is just plain white okay for a standard?

That could be toxic. I was told that you can substitute a black one with a white one. White can stand in foe any color. Its all about intent. Maybe visualize a black candle. You can definitely feel the difference though. Charge the candle with your intent with your hands heart mind power and solar plexus and the color black. Try to go to a mall and find a candle shop, maybe bed bath and beyond, I was told that some Wal marts sell them. Good luck.

Also if you have a Pier1 around you.that store is excellent for candles! That's where I get a lot of mine and the last time I was there they had black and gold. 2 hard colors to find.

try an arts and crafts store.  the very black candles i used in my dedication was from one called ben franklin.
i am not sure what arts and crafts store is nearest you but look into that for sure as i am not sure about you but for me yeah there are walmarts in my state indeed but i don't drive and take the bus everywhere and walmart is usually outta my reach.
as for markers or paint well im sure you could look into if they are toxic or not.
try asking on yahoo answers and say something like:
um i got kids or whatever and they like to color and i want to get them markers as they are very talented but they also like to put various things in their mouths.
and that for that reason you want to ask what kind of markers to get (or paint if available).

yes black candles are hard to find, but its all okay with painting them black, because even i do paint them the white one's to a black to use it in satanic rituals.
