This is obviously vile. Birth has also been more medicalized than necessary. The placenta is actually taken and re-sold for up to 50k as well, and then put into all kinds of other dietary and beauty products. But not cutting the cord for a certain amount of time or leaving it on actually is necessary. Doctors also shouldn’t be pushing mothers, rushing them, cutting the cord too soon, or taking the baby right when they’re born.
