well yes you don't need ritual tools right away
but
if you want them and you are on a low budget there are ways you can buy some cheaper things
me i make close to minimum wage myself so i know i cannot afford silver but read somewhere on the jos site and i think in past group messages that in cases where silver cannot be obtained for whatever reason that stainless steel is okay. things like candles and incense (if u want candles and incense that is) you can try 99 cent stores and dollar stores and browse around. if i want to i can get 25 bucks whenever i have it and buy myself gift card to amazon and find some cheap things. believe it or not some gas stations (not all though) may have some kinds of incense of you are looking for incense in stick form.

if you cannot get a suitable knife then just use your hand for this.
daggers or knives for this kind of thing you can get of amazon and other internet sites or i think even some pawn shops or even some sporting good stores might have knives of some kinds. sporting goods stores are hunting knives most likely.
you do not need expensive stuff.
overall suguarddraconis is right in saying they are not a must but i hope the info i provided here helps you incase you somehow muster some money up and want to buy some things.
