I need help understanding..please.

I've spent several hours on JoS researching for myself...I am very open-minded, but also very aware of how scarce "truth" can be. I've never came close to believing in any religion. But I know there is something more than what we see. As simple as feeling things beyond your 5 physical senses.

So, to make a long story short, I am looking for guidance in this, I feel like i've been searching for an answer for so long...but to what, I do not know. So if a person of substance would happen to read this...itd be much appreciated if you could shine some more light on this subject for me..If this is something real...I am in need of spiritual help..something to help me understand what I am..

What I suggest you to do is finish off reading the whole JoS site, then start practicing yourself (start with your daily power meditations and other practices if you're interested in discovering it for yourself) and if you have any SPECIFIC questions, worries or anything else that isn't answered in the site then ask them here. I really mean that. If you make a vague post like this which doesn't make your intentions or anything else you want to say clear, how else would you expect something more than a vague answer (like the ones the so-called mystics give which don't really mean anything but you somehow think that it contains some divine knowledge within it)??

I agree with what fire starter said. In time you will see the truth and find the answers for yourself. It's all right here for the taking, you just need to work at it. Too many people expect that if you dedicate, your life will be instantly changed and everything will be smooth sailing and enlightenment is just around the corner. It's not like that. Progress takes time and work.
