The reason I'm posting is after a good deal of reflection and study I want to dedicate myself to Father Satan. I think that Thursday night is when I should do it. Because the moon will be waxing and in Taurus and the summer solstis celibration. Does this make sense? Thank you everyone, Mycroftacd

Go for it, so long as you stay away from the void of course moon.  Do not begin the ritual during the void of course, and you should be OK.  And this is a perfect way to celebrate the Summer Solstice Holiday.  Thursday night is a great time to do it. Of course, for me it's too late.  I chose rather to do my dedication on the Eve of Beltane.  I didn't want to wait--I knew I didn't want Christi-SCAM[/B]-ity, and I didn't wish to put off something that could either keep being put off until the twelfth of never, or I would find myself grabbed by angels and dragged to Nigeria for a stupid mission before I "got around" to it.  Thus, I picked Beltane for my dedication.  However, the Summer Solstice is a prime opportunity.  The next major holiday after is Lammas Day, so if you really want a special dedication, either do it now or spend the next 40 days studying and learning so you will be fully ready for Lammas Day without excuses.  And, if you lack one of the items, I recommend just going ahead with an imperfect dedication rather than wasting the time gathering the materials for a "perfect" dedication.  A flawed dedication ritual that you actually do is better than a perfect one you don't do. Thank you for your reply. This is the first time I have been able to get online regularlly in about 3 years, so I have been studying constantly for about the last week. To tell the truth it's kind of starting to run together. Lol I know I should not exspect to get everything at once but, it is just so refreshing to be able to get new knowedge and light that I can't stop thinking of it.

Thank you for the courtucy of your reply. My thinking was that I want to show that I have put some thought study and effort into my deication. I don't want or exspect everything to just be reveled to me with no effort on my part. I want to make sure that I am not making any mistakes that would give offense through lack of knowedge. Also I want to show respect for everything He has done for me. And I did make a mistake about what sign the mon was in. As lydia_666 pointed out in her reply to my post. There is alot of information on the "Joy of Satan" website and it's hard putting it all together. But the journy of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Thank you for taking the time to help me on mine. Hopfully I can return the favor some day. Mycroftacd
