Head pressure from a week of poor sleep

A month ago I traveled and had disrupted sleep, for a week, which was followed by a week of mild headaches. Now I mostly experience mild, painless head pressure that comes and goes — more annoying than painful.

A clinic suggested either chamomile tea or Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine), but Flexeril feels like overkill for me at this point. I’d prefer to try conservative or natural approaches first. I’ve heard lemon balm and magnesium glycinate can help — but what is actually helpful? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
Spend a few hours in nature. Also avoid using screens late at night.
 
Besides spending time outdoors and experiencing the soothing beauty of nature to calm your mind, if you have free time and you feel tired, try taking that time to rest and sleep without exerting to much mental pressure by spending time on the phone, the TV or the PC before and afterwards. Exhausted mind, and in return fatigued body, is a sign that you have experienced weariness.

You can combine the outdoors and rest, especially if you have a nice backyard or if there is place like a park or outdoor retreat where you can just hang out and relax in a tent or a hammock.

Remember proper food balance and avoid overeating before sleep, drink lots of water and avoid sweets and sugary drinks as they will just overstimulate your mind and reduce magnesium in your body, which is necessary for sleep-wake cycles.
 
Besides what others have stated try practicing void before sleep, a quite mind will have an easy time getting into other states of being.
