I know that, but what most people are unfamiliar with is that the Jesuits and the church are the reasons why Croatian people as a whole suffered in the first Yugoslavia, which was then cunningly used by the Pavelic lead Ustashe to gain support among commoners.
The creation of the first Yugoslavian country was supported by bishops and clerics, especially Juraj Strossmayer, whose surname is not even Croatian. According to "credible" sources he is German, though he was most likely a Jew that lived in Croatia. He is also admired by a communist and Jewish politician Andrija Hebrang in the Balkans as a hero of the "Slavic Unity", even though both him and his bishop of a hero aren't/weren't Croatian or Slavic for that matter (notice the admiration between the church and communists). There is a book by Henri Pozzi, called Black Hand over Europe, which explains the situation in the first Yugoslavia, but it does not mention this information. I am referencing it if you want to learn more about this part of the world in that time.

When actual Croatian politicians and activists tried to send pleas for help from 1919-1929 (and even 1934), most of them were ignored by the foreigner political establishments or just silenced. The most prominent was Stjepan Radić, who is celebrated by both the right-wing (HDZ - communists disguised as nationalists, HSP - remnants of Ustashe who do not really have much power anyway) and left-wing (SDP - commies who do not hide their affiliation and the liberals who are just as sick as the Western ones) political sides in the country, despite the fact that if one reads his works or quotes, he can easily see that Radić would have despised both the Ustasha led NDH and the communist Yugoslavia that came after.
I'm going to translate some of his quotes which shows his distrust of the clergy:
"
Clericalism means the abuse of the most sacred feelings of religion in order to destroy the family and the people for the sake of political power." -
Nova revija, 1926. broj 1, 67-68
"Ever since the friars joined forces with the gendarmes (The Royal Guard of King Alexander of Yugoslavia), and especially now in the last few days since the police joined forces with the Jesuits, these complaints have become even more severe and frightening… Throughout Dalmatia, and even more so in Bosnia and Herzegovina, parish priests and priests will not baptize, will not perform weddings, will not bury until they are paid their dues for five, six, seven, eight, and even more years…
That world of ours in Bosnia and Dalmatia, where religion is pure as a pearl, that werewolf comes and says in the name of Jesus: Give me ten thousand dinars, otherwise I will not marry you... And the authorities look on calmly, and the worst are those who were radical cortèches, candidates, they went with ten or twelve gendarmes and three or four friars. Oh, it was wonderful to see them, when they came together to break up our assemblies. Everywhere I went in Dalmatia, friars went together with gendarmes..." - Stenografske zabilješke Narodne skupštine, 1927/1928, IV, 274-280.
"When our bishops write a political letter and when they want to be political leaders for the Croatian people, then it is my and our duty to judge it and, if necessary, condemn it." - Govor u Krašiću, 28. kolovoza 1924.
Sadly, Radić was assassinated by a Serbian named Puniša Račić (who was supported by the King of Yugoslavia, Alexander) in 1928, and his assassination came as a blessing for Pavelić and the traitors around who used his death to win the support of the people and to keep is an ongoing hostility with the Serbs. By the way, the King of Yugoslavia, Alexander, was a benevolent ruler in the eyes of the Jews. In fact, he officially welcomed the initiative to open the Belgrade synagogue, where he and the political envoys attended the official opening.
"
Fundraising to support the construction of a purpose-built, more functional building began on the eve of the First World War, but the cornerstone, with a charter on parchment signed by King Alexander and Queen Maria sealed within it, was solemnly laid only after the war, on 15 June 1924. The ceremony was attended by the envoys of the King and the government of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the representatives of the Jewish congregations, of various corporations, the President of the National Assembly, and the Chief Rabbi Dr. Alcalay."

Since Radić's death, true and honest Croatian politicians were replaced by traitors, either clerical "nationalists" (Pavelić) or communists like Tito, who according to some sources, was not even a Croatian, but a Russian trained communist with a Jewish background. If only Maček would have remained the leader in the late 1930s, thing might have been different since he was the last presiding leader of the HSS, party founded by Radić. It is sad how the modern day HSS has turned into just another leftist party, where the leadership is filled with commie leftards who think that the opposition to clerics meant that the party is supposed to be communist, even though Radić championed the idea of Croatian national revival, just without religion. I would say that he was similar to the Turkish leaders, Ataturk, who hated Islam but promoted the idea of nationalism and healthy patriotism.
During WWII, many common Croatian soldiers valiantly fought with the Third Reich, and many of them even volunteered to fight alongside the Germans and other European brothers during the Battle of Stalingrad, unaware of the traitorous nature of the then Croatian leadership. My grandfather even served in the German Navy (in Germany) as a young man, but he was never part of the Ustasha forces, at least from what my mother told me. When he came back to Yugoslavia, he had to keep his mouth shut because of the communist leadership of that time. Pavelić betrayed these Croatian soldiers when he left them at the mercy of the communists, while his ass ran to South America, along with any other leader, especially those with Jewish backgrounds (who mostly defected to the communist side). What is funny and ironic is that the Jews today use the Ustasha to slander the Croatian nation and to remind us of our evil crimes (some regular fighters and commanders were even hunted down by the "Nazi" hunter Effraim Zuroff), while they collect donations from both Croatia and even Serbia in the form of war reparations.
Then came Yugoslavia, which was not really the best time for a person to accentuate his national or cultural background because it might endanger the Yugoslavian identity, as it was called back then. Fast forward to 1990s, we had a war that was built on the story of how crimes committed by Ustasha and Chetniks, while communist crimes were swept under the rug. Additionally, the leaders of all sides in that conflict were communists pretending to be nationalists, e.g. Tuđman (Tito's general during WWII and after, until he was given the role of an UDBA agent with a task to infiltrate any nationalist movement) for Croatians, Karađič and Šešelj (both were members of the communist party) for Serbs, and Slobodan Milošević who was an open communist. They received so much money from the CIA in order to destroy the old country by plunging us into conflict.

Anyway, the history of Balkans is very complex and sensitive, but for both Croatian and Serbs it is important to finally realize who was behind these divisions and who makes the most out of them. The divide and conquer tactic worked very well in this part of the world, and two nations, similar or identical in blood, ended up becoming sworn enemies due to different religious backgrounds (Catholic and Orthodox), which are both hostile faiths that destroyed our spirit. That is the reason why this part of the world is so poor and why young people look to build a future for themselves in Western countries; meanwhile, the corrupt leadership in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia generates so much wealth at the expense of common folk. The same goes for the Catholic, Orthodox and Islamic society, who are very close to these corrupt leaders and who also profit enormously from the chaos in our countries. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts how the religious leaders, especially Jesuits, are supporting the influx of foreign migrants in Croatia and Bosnia, offering them free education and accommodations while our people have to pay so much to get a decent education and living. The situation with foreign workers in Serbia is not any better, at least from what I heard.
To finalize, I just want Croatians, Serbs and even Bosniaks to finally open their eyes to reality and not to fall for the same old tricks by the enemies, the Jews - whose local leader boosted how Jews have an easy and amazing time in Bosnia because native people are too busy hating each other, so Jews go mostly unnoticed.
