Hey all.

This last Monday, I had a novel idea to honour Satan and the gods.

I gave an offering of mead and chicken to put on the alter. Next, I sprinkled some of the mead on the idols of Dazhbog and Svarog (Satan) I had made to symbolize the holiness of the drink. In the light of the candles, I "feasted with the gods" for a good while. I closed the ceremony by putting some of the mead in my special bowl and pouring it on the soil outside. Pouring it on the ground symbolizes how the gods have blessed the earth. Of course, at the end, "GRAD SVAROGA!" (Hail Satan!).

My point is that one can learn to honour Satan in their own way. You don't have to do what every other Satanist does to show Satan and the gods your appreciation. Sometimes, if everyone does the same thing, the ceremonies start to lose meaning.

I modeled my own off of what my Slavic ancestors would probably have done. It's interesting, easy to prepare and perform, creative, and helps one to develop good relationships with the gods. Remember, we in Satan hold individuality as key!
