Curses/Astrological questions

Hello everyone. I have two questions I hope you can help me with. The first regards the first curse I felt safe enough doing without overpowering enemy retaliation in my 5 years with Satan, and despite the fact that according to my natal chart black magic is the only thing I'm really, really good at.
Is it possible to misfire a curse? As in it affects someone else very close to the target. I cursed a coworker I am competing with for a position and instead it hit another coworker, her little unofficial assistant and personal friend whom the target relies on to do her work or her. Damn, it was devastating though as it effected her entire family which I really could care less about.
Secondly, concerning astrology: I keep getting fucked over HARD with jobs lately even though I'm meditating now more than I ever have and using Fehu quite liberally. How can I tell what astrological transits, retro grades and whatnot could be giving me incredibly bad luck? I feel like I'm cut off from the moon right now as its my usual source of energy. Something isn't right in the Duat for me, and I need to know why ASAP.

That mean you curse worked but he has a strong aura and you have maybe same strong aura so energy not even you attack. But attack those near him.

What happened with your curse is somehow appalling! As energy takes the easiest route to accomplish, probably hitting your colleague's assistant was the easiest way to ruin your competitor's job? Just wondering
 
From the astrological point of view, just observe if you have any hard transit (Saturn, or also Neptune) to your 6th (job) or 10th (career) houses. Or to the planets ruling those houses, or if you have bad natal placement in those areas.
Mercury and Saturn are natural rulers of the 6th and 10th house so they also have a role in your job themselves.
A bit hard to say but if you receive hardship from job most likely it is Saturn, if you receive confusion and non-conreteness it's Neptune, if you receive personal violence it's Mars (however Mars transit arer quite quick so it might depend from where Mars is placed in the Natal Chart).
