Thank you. However, I have my chart, my full reading. I didn't make my question very clear. I was wanting to understand what the Ascendant Sign is all about. I do not understand where this comes from in one's chart.
For example, my Ascendant sign is Leo. I'm trying to figure out why it is Leo. Is it because of the time, place, day, ect. that I was born on? Why wouldn't/ couldn't it have been Scorpio, or Libra?
I am trying to understand how it is determined.

Oh, okay, so it deals with the Constellations in the Sky, weather you were born at Day or Night. The constellations will rise and set each day, and depending on which one was rising at the exact minute you were born, that's your Ascendent Sign.
I think I just answered my own question. Is this true?

You have to have the correct time of birth since the ascendant is where the eastern horizon was when you were born.
