am i properly vizualizing the chakras?

I have been vizualizing my chakras like coloured triangles that are instructed from JoS, i imagine a corrosponding chakra but in a black background am i doing it right?

I don't know about the dark background. I visualize bright colours against yellowish white (sun's colour). I feel a great sense of calmness when I do that.

I did the same at some point, but it wasnt a complete difference when i did against a dark background so i guess it doesnt matter :-
