Finding them isn't the problem conversations with them is. Some wander around some sit down but they mostly look at other people like gosh they're so blind

When you identify one that is if you can even see one. Merging with them gets their attention (usually works) or calling out their name (tricky) imagine how many Jame's there are

And yes there are two types of spirits think of them as powerful (with abilities) and NPC(a Jewish dream, they do rule the world anyway) powerful one's can cause pressure and cuts but a powerful one can just be you and me or them. Eh, I assume some people just want to watch the world burn. but what's not known is in one sided communication you don't really need telepathy to communicate body guestures and verbal works too as well as others (But then talking to you it's the problem, unless you see them they are in the same dimension in a sense)

Human spirits love doing what they were doing when they are alive when in you as they do not sleep. Even a simple expression like smelling coffee will take them back.

But I strongly suggest imposed ignorance on them unless it's people you know you don't want to be a astral celebrity, like questions/words you can't stop from the moment you sleep till you first wake up. I mean if you clean your aura and empower your soul you'll stand out in the astral like a beacon in some sense (e.g who cleans their aura like that!). But if you don't talk to them they wouldn't talk to you

They may try but whatever you ignore in the spirit world should go away.
