Question: Why are some born handicapped, crippled, missing a limb, or have Down Syndrome? I know now I have to be careful who I listen to regarding soul, life, and reincarnation. Nevertheless, I was once informed that it's due to heavy karma, especially if you are born with Down Syndrome, which is due to having committed suicide. The sould starts all over again, but with degradation when coming back into physical life. The religious Christian claims it's a curse to the parents because "God" blesses and curses.
What is your take on the topic? And if some of it is true, is the a chance for a change into other incarnations?
Links are appreciated if there's readings regarding the topic

No one seems to have the answer.
It would be good for you to create or search for your own.

I'm a pessimist, so in philosophy they say we're in this world to do penance.
Some souls are born with a body that is more limited, defective, with a lower intellectual capacity.
Obviously this is due to negative karma, but not always.
Because I believe that chance does its work.
That means some souls are just born bad.
The source of creation has created an imperfect deformity.
Everything that is negative and bad comes from the Source.
And so does everything that is positive and good.
In other words, I think it's just a case of brutality without purpose, misfortune without reason, suffering for suffering's sake, and misery for misery's sake.

However, I wonder if it makes sense to think that someone with severe mental limitations is undergoing some kind of penance.
After all, an autistic person, almost a vegetable, doesn't suffer as much as a sane person.

The body and mind are a reflection of the soul.
But the soul originated from the spirit.
If God created a negative spirit, a deformed nature, then his soul will continue to have negative determinism.

Nature is brutal, some things happen because they happen.
If everything were controlled by causes and conditions that we ourselves create, everything would be fine.
