The Left Brain Hemisphere; Higher Understanding

Thank you High Priestess Lydia. This is very helpful for me, as I have always been very left brain dominant. I will work on being more balanced.

To briefly clarify before beginning: The left brain hemisphere is verbal, words, description, logic, literal, analytic, keeps track of time, rational, linear. The right brain hemisphere is nonverbal (visual or other nonverbal cognition), can put the parts into the whole and see the whole as greater than just the parts, seeing things in reality as they are, analogic, understand metaphors, imaginative, intuitive, can suspend judgement or opinion, spatial, insightful.

The left side is often referred to as “masculine” and the right side “feminine”; these refer to polarities but most men are generally more in tune with the left hemisphere and most women generally with the right hemisphere.

The left hemisphere is intellect, the right hemisphere is wisdom.

The mind is within the entire being, and much of it is blocked within humans.

Studying psychology, the brain, the education system, and society overall. Everything for the past century has been progressively putting too much of an emphasis on the left-brain (left hemisphere actions) and systematically working to make the right-brain into a joke; praising the left brain, insulting the right. This is done deliberately to decrease humans and make us inferior to how we are designed to be.

For men especially, this is one of the reasons why so many of you have trouble finding a woman. Women can sense when someone is too left-brained, and while most women cannot put it into words, they find men who are overly left-brained to be undesirable to be around. The reason for this is because this is alienating, an inferior way of being, it diminishes everything (the experience of life itself included), and women cannot feel a connection to a man who is in this way. This is not to say being overly right-hemisphere is best, both are needed in correct balance and either is stunted without the other.

The left hemisphere is concerned (and overly so) with categorizing and labeling, forming judgement and making opinions as quickly as possible; the right hemisphere with seeing the whole, seeing things exactly as they are, in reality, completely in its space as it is. The right hemisphere can rise above the preconceived notions set by the left hemisphere.

Most men tend to categorize women, whereas women are far more likely to see a man as he is, as an individual. A lot of men get confused and even frustrated when a woman does not fit strictly and entirely into a category, even thinking the woman is pretending to be different sometimes, instead of understanding that the woman is an individual and therefore not in a category. Categories are extremely limiting and omit individual personality traits and differences.

Society praises left-brain actions alone; but the truth is, this diminishes life. Anyone who is mostly or fully left brained will hardly advance in spirituality, personality, or creativity.

Both sides of the brain, the mind in its fullest sense, is needed. Most women by nature are more in tune with the right; but the education system of the past 50-100 years has been removing the importance of the right brain, making it simpler for men especially to become too left-brained, and causing a dissonance within women, making women out of tune with their natural frequency. Even art and music are being done in a way that is too left-brained and not focused on correctly developing the natural abilities of the right brain.

Trance is much more difficult for people who are very left-brained. The left hemisphere dislikes meditation as it wants to dominate the right hemisphere and be active, but in order to trance, the left hemisphere needs to become quiet and passive. Spirituality, the occult, and meditation are of the right hemisphere; trying to focus on these areas with an overly left brain will result in failure or inability to fully comprehend spirituality.

So many members email or write in the forums in a way that clearly shows they are trying to access it through the left brain, or trying to understand spiritual concepts with the left brain. Being overly left-brained is literally retarded, stunted, because humans are biologically and spiritually designed to be dual brained. Developing both sides and using both sides is where you will find success to everything. While the left hemisphere is intellect, it is the right hemisphere where insight and genius emerge from.

Meditation to open access to the right brain:

This is extremely easy, and can be done almost anywhere, any time, but is best done while looking outside with a large scope of view and distance. It can also be practiced before trance to help get into trance easier, and can be practiced if you are feeling stressed or mentally pressured, this is mentally refreshing.

-Wherever you happen to be, look at your surroundings. Simply look, and remove any words or labels that come to mind. See each thing exactly as it is; not as you think it should be, and don’t think about its function or purpose.

-Any words or labels or categorization that comes to mind, have them drift away. Notice the color or texture of any object, but don’t think about the words of these. Try to see each thing as it is, simply observe it.

-You can trace your gaze around any object such as a building or tree, but avoid labeling any parts of it. Just non-verbally notice how it is.

-If an animal such as your pet dog or cat, or birds outside, come into sight, observe it as it moves, feel delight or amusement in how they randomly do things that may defy logic such as wandering in one direction then changing direction for no apparent reason.

-Just observe and notice each thing exactly as it is, in the moment of time that it is in.

If you cannot quiet your mind, then do this while doing the above:

-Mentally on your inhale say “Sat” and on your exhale say “Ya”. Satya is a sacred mantra of Zeus. Say this softly like a gentle breeze in your mind. The S, T, and Y are very short, while the A (ah) is longer, mostly as long as your inhale/exhale are.

Now, when you try to communicate with the Gods, or read the Temple of Zeus website or posts by Clergy, try to do it dual-hemisphere. Don’t jump to conclusions about what “they must have actually meant”, don’t categorize, don’t label, don’t have internal dialogue debating what you think is better; just read it for what it is.

If you don’t understand something, then keep your mind open to understanding later; if you form wrong or limiting conclusions now, they will become blocks in your progress now or later. True wisdom cannot have blocks in its way, it needs to rise.

Advance, in spirituality and within your personal Self.
Thank you very much High Priestess Lydia!

I've saved the sermon, and I'm will practice exercises.

For any men, strategic success (result) is almost always important.

Since most men work a lot, they have little time for their personal lives.

Men don't like to go on dates for nothing (without results), or just to chat (as the women themselves say).

If a man goes on a date with a woman, he always wants to have some kind of result, at least in the form of sex, at most the continuation of meetings (when there is already sex) with a foundation for a serious relationship.

From the point of view of the result, from the male point of view, there are men who, after meeting a girl for the first time, conditionally after a cup of coffee, successfully seduce a woman and have sex with her, and there are men who go on dates for months to no avail, without even having short-term sex, not to mention serious relationships that are impossible without sex.

I know a man who often and for a long time goes on dates with different women (after one leaves him, he writes off on a dating site and makes an appointment with another), but as soon as he gets into feelings for a woman, she begins to move away and the relationship does not develop. On the other hand, I know an example of another man who, on the first day, meets a girl he likes, drinks coffee with her, successfully seduces her and has sex with her on the same day, while according to other men, this man can seduce and attract to bed in a day (on the same day day) at least three women.

In the first case, the man is not successful, and in the second case, he is successful.

I want all men to be successful and have no problems with women on the personal front and in their personal lives.

There are a lot of single men in the 21st century, and this is not normal.

How can a man demonstrate right-hemisphere thinking, or a right-hemisphere model of behavior in front of women, in order to always, or in most cases, be positively considered by a woman and man have absolute success on the love front, in sex, tenderness, care and understanding on the part of a woman towards a man, at the same time, so that a woman does not consider a man weak and man in getting everything you need from a woman?

Thank you for this post, HPS Lydia. I'm a woman but due to chronic stress and trauma, it caused me to become more left-brained than normal (I think), unable to truly "be" in the moment without over-labelling, hyper-analyzing, trying to understand everything right now (otherwise it could have been tragic or so I thought). This can drain someone on the long run...at least this has been my personal experience. It's as if my "male" side has been trying to protect me for any possible danger, closing off my ability to just "be" and switch off. I would be curious to know whether or not there is any correlation between excessive left-brain-ness and chronic stress/trauma.

The day before yesterday I tried this and I've never felt so relaxed, more than that, I've been able to enjoy myself and the moment I was in a long time. Thank you so much.

Everything felt so new while doing this meditation. But it was a little challenging. But I will work on it. because I want to expand my understanding and awareness exponentially.

Thank you for giving us this meditation, High Priestess Lydia. 🙏

I would be curious to know whether or not there is any correlation between excessive left-brain-ness and chronic stress/trauma.
Yes, there is. Much research has been done on this, and it's why meditation, art therapy, and music therapy are so highly recommended to people who suffer from chronic stress and trauma.

The brain needs to be dual, it's how we are designed. Lack of usage of the right hemisphere leads to chronic stress and burnout; and in the reverse, chronic stress and trauma can cause people to be overly-left brained, because it can be difficult or feel like danger can approach more easily if we go into right-hemisphere mode.

Thank you very much High Priestess Lydia.
I found your article very interesting and look forward to trying this meditation! 💛 ☀️

To add to this, many people are overly concerned about categorization in general.

Quibbling over what micro-genre a piece of music belongs to is one example. One site is dedicated to all this bickering. White people due to excess mental energy especially go overboard with this. These types of nitpicking personalities start to become repulsive and, if you ask me, anti-creative. It is a persistent joke among bands that music journalists only create categorizations because they had no talent.

Let's just say at the start of any 'genre' one can name, no one was like: "okay, I am going to create a Chicago drill song now." Groups like Black Sabbath knew their themes were different, but did not see what they were doing musically as anything particularly different to what the Beatles were doing. Tony Iommi only played in step and a half down tuning due to an injury that made playing in standard tuning painful.

Note what HPS Lydia said about suspending judgement.

A lot of young people make a huge mistake in life by becoming too moored to an identity they formed as a teenager or child, usually taken from a role model or set of role models online. When resentment about repeated ill-treatment or exposure to social media opinions on the internet comes along, people dig in their heels and go into navel-gazing about these identities, which often are equally curiously constructed as the person goes along.

If it's not that, it is endless laundry lists of what people 'think' they want. But that flapping isn't really engaging with the social side of the right-brain.

Endless phone or PC use also stimulates the left side of the brain to an extreme. It is not a mistake that these things came in tandem with such 24/7 access. Other people broadly also think like this; people are locked in. So is it any wonder so many people struggle with sex and romance when they know they are ugly, or some other notion?

As was said, the right-sided essence is not dealt with and is underdeveloped. This also prevents open-mindedness to new experiences. This leads to really bizarre theories, like 'because someone's lobes are underdeveloped until 30 years of age, they must be left untainted by foreign influences or stressors, just doing the same thing over and over and over'. Actually it is BECAUSE those lobes are underdeveloped and plastic that young people should seek out novel, preferably positive, experiences and (at times) hardships that form them into something greater and durable.

These things of being 'left alone' are also why depression, anxiety and 'autism' are spiking.

People in the past did not think like this. There is a noticeable shift in European thinking from 'I do this, I am at that' to 'I am this, and I am that'. This exploded out of America, infected Western Europe completely and now makes its way to Eastern Europeans and East Asia.

There is only so much andrapoda actually can 'be' something outside of hardcore confines like sex and race. Them thinking like this is a time bomb of problems, thinking about mental illness, looksmaxxing, plastic surgery, credit card-bought lifestyles and all these bizarre things that inhibit them dealing with the baseline of life.

Thank you HPS for the fantastic sermon. It is shocking how different and better this world would be if all people had access to such information and to spirituality in gereral.

"Living in the matrix" is absolutely not an exaggeration when the vast majority of people are locked away from "half" of the whole existence so to say and they can only perceive it with the limited means they have.

Both techniques given here are very good, I've tried the meditation a couple times and it allows for the right brain to express a lot better.
Very important to talk about, and very well put as usual. Thank you, High Priestess!

It's been I think the busiest year for me so far, but when I come here, read those great articles and see all the members grow, talk and form bonds, it makes me happy. Seeing the community grow and flourish is an achievement that will go down in history :)

Ideally, the hemispheres of the brain should work together, just like sexual energies.

I've noticed that people are much easier to subjugate if they have a significant imbalance between the functioning of their cerebral hemispheres.

I've learned that different people use different areas of the brain for the same activity; for example, dyslexia uses the right hemisphere more for reading, and many dyslexics and left-handed people have artistic abilities above average.

The Dagaz rune is very useful for balancing the cerebral hemispheres more directly with vibration; it also has to do with awakening and strengthening the Third Eye.

The Moon in Aquarius is ideal for this because it governs genius.

With the breath I used the Sun and Moon breathing for this goal by concentrating the energy first on one hemisphere and then the other, I noticed that it is easier in the morning hours when waking up when the right hemisphere of the brain is more active because after sleep this is its activity, it is also very useful for remembering dreams which are part of the feminine aspect of the soul and the unconscious.

Today, I was stressed out, and I logged in to find your wonderful sermon. I tried the Satya mantra, and it worked wonders. I'm definitely adding it to my daily routine. Thank you so much, HPS Lydia!
