What moon sign is good for binding spell and is it necessary to do a 40 days cycle, can I do it for... let's say 9 days?

Full Moon, doesn't matter what sign. Capricorn would be great but it can be any sign, as long as it's the day before or the day of a Full Moon.

If in an emergency do it at any time as long as the moon is not void, and then re-do it at the full moon.

I have done a one-shot binding spell on one person. Since that time, I have never seen that one ever again interfering. So my experience shows that a 40 day cycle is not necessary. But if you are unsure, you can spend more time. How to know if your spell worked or not? In my case, it was just an intuitive prompt that I have done everything properly, just felt calmness when compared to before doing the spell.

can i start the binding spell tomorrow and finish it on the 11th full moon. i want to make a doll tomorrow and fill it with herbs and on the full moon do the standard ritual and vibrate isa. will it work? thank you

Yes either day is fine, you might need to do it daily until it feels permanent.
