Xian Encounter Question

All,
I attend a 12-step group to deal with my addictive behaviors. It has been quite beneficial to me, and even though I am new to this path, I have read that dealing with substance addictions is a great idea for a number of reasons.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, 12-step suggests a belief in a higher power of one's own choosing. Without question I have chosen Father Satan.
Here is my question:
After the last meeting I attended, an elderly group member asked me for a ride back to his house. I gave him a ride, and when we arrived there he asked if we could have a word of prayer. He, like many in 12-step programs, believes in the Xian god.
I did not want to insult him or his beliefs so I bowed my head silently while he prayed. I do not want to be told what to believe but I feel that I do not have the right to tell anyone else what to believe either.
Was I doing anything insulting to Father by doing this?
I silently rejected the Xian words and said my own words to Father at the same time.
I would appreciate any input here.
Hail Satan!!

Father Satan knows that sometimes situations like this can't be avoided. Some people might be forced to go to church against there will but as long as you are true to Father Satan, he is understanding. Just as long as you stay true to Him and don't fall into any of that xian crap, everything's fine.

Hail Satan

When I use to go to meetings, the old timers would tell me(I was Pagan than and not Satanic or xtian)that I was not truly clean and sober,if I didn't believe in the xtian concept of God.Even than I told them they were full of shit.Been clean and sober 17+ years, and have not been to a meeting in over 5 years now.Hail SatanBrian

Good to hear.
I am in no way going to reject Father Satan or move bakc towards the RHP. I was thinking that Father would understand from what I have read in this group.
Hail Satan!

..Hail Satan!! 12 step programs are notorious for pushing xianity and "praying" to the kike god to "help" you with your addiction. and the majority of people end up relapsing. welll... you must not have been "praying" enough, then. they say "the god of your choosing" but you do realize they refer to the xian god when they "pray".
the person who will help you with your addiction is YOU. start with a good meditaion program, breathing excersizes... ect.
all i'm saying is be careful around those xians.
Father Satan understands what you go through, and yes, if you must continue to go around these xians, when they do that prayer shit, bow your head and concentrate on Satan.

Its iffy, I gotta say.
First of all, YOU have every RIGHT to tell him that you do not wish to pray at this time. This old man has no sway over you.

Its OK to back down from prayers to the jew.

Only in cases where your LIFE or livelihood is endangered should you fake it, IMO.

Hailz

..Hail Satan!! Yeah, if you are court-ordered, you gotta do it. Keep up a strong aura of protection. and stick with your meditations. If they say you can worship who you want,-even a doorknob-- can you say you are a Satanist? i wonder what they would say.
But don't do it, you may have them "pray" for you to "save" you--lol
you don't need that negative energy!

It is good to hear that - I have no choice but to go right now. But as soon as that is over I am out of there.
It is becoming more and more hateful to me to have to listen to all the religious crap. I just tune out and try to concentrate on Father during those times.
Thanks for your words.
Hail Satan!
