Wrong index finger

Ive always thought (until tonight) that the index finger was the ring finger and when I dedicated a month ago on April 30th I pricked the wrong finger. Does this mean my dedication was invalid? Does this make all the standard rituals Ive done invalid as well?
Should I repeat my dedication?
