I don't know anything about what a Witches Sabbat is supposed to be or what the significance of the dates for them are.
What are they based on, what are they supposed to be etc?
Why aren't there any in May, June or July and then two of them in August?

Search is an extremely useful tool, please use it.

Yeah I'm actually writing in response to the first sentence of that thread...

"Everyone here is familiar with the "Witches Sabbath" and how this was applied in the Middle Ages by witches to do spellworking and other secretive rites. The "Witches Sabbath" is a very classical date for witches for centuries now."

No I am not familiar with it. That's why I made this thread (y)

The answers are in that topic so no need to create a separate topic when you know of that topic already.

Can you show me where in that thread my question was answered? Did you read what I've written because I feel very misunderstood.
I didn't ask how I am supposed to make use of a Witches Sabbat.

Why are some Saturdays a Witches Sabbath and others are not?
Why are they not on the same dates every year?
What does it correlate to astrologically or seasonally, if anything?

As simply as possible, what makes a day a Witches Sabbat?

Bonus if any reliable information about how they were classically observed in medieval times is out there. I am not familiar with this.

Why are some Saturdays a Witches Sabbath and others are not?
Because of the phases of the Moon.
Why are they not on the same dates every year?
Because the movements of the planets are not the same every year. The sky is quite complex.
What does it correlate to astrologically or seasonally, if anything?
To the Moon, its phases, and the weekdays, namely Saturday.

The word "Sabbatu" comes from Babylon and is directly associated with the Moon and the Lunar Disk, but is related to the Sumerian Sa-Bat which means "Mid Rest". This is easily searchable online for those who want to read more on this. However, the meaning of this here doesn't exactly mean "rest", the meaning here is this: Days for purification meditations.
....

(you should re-read the original post carefully)

The Witches' Sabbath is linked to the Lunar cycle and begins on Saturday which is the day of Saturn which is the planet that governs the energy blocks and waste of the soul.

It is spiritually symbolic of a new beginning to accelerate the purification of the soul and have greater control of the mind.

The strongest cycle is the 21 or 28 day cycle that began on a Saturday of the New Moon.

It will happen in August and also in December and occurred on March 29.

The Solar mantras ensure success in this type of purification and the Isa rune can be used to enhance the control of one's mind, other very powerful methods are the circulation of the elements for the most adepts

Because of the phases of the Moon.

Dude this was a very brief statement and I think I figured it out on my own. It has to be when a either a new or a full moon is on either a Friday or Saturday.

Done, simple. No need to make this take two days for such a simple answer. Sorry for trying to study.

When you do this with the lunar cycle does it engrave permanently on the soul like a 40 day working?
Yes, it remains in the soul as a permanent progress below 40 days. It is one of the methods to anticipate the 40 days, others are for example the Kabbalistic squares and other types of rituals

Is this true regardless of the duration of the cycle?
Will a 1 , 7, or 14 day Isa cycle still be permanent, albeit with a lesser amount of energy raised?

The above is not in anyway to replace a 40 day working for let's say, countering negative transits. The above is only for purification and cleaning focus (More time added on one's schedule to focus on that end) for a set amount of time, and to create an acceleration of cleaning and it's effectiveness.
....
How this relates to the 40 day circle, is that the numbers given above, will work for cleansing, but not for workings that need to be consolidated. The two circles are EXCLUSIVE to one another and NOT the same.

Yeah I read that part. Are you disagreeing with what fuoco blu just said? I think you should be addressing him instead of me. All I want is clarity.

No, I am simply answering the question you made by quoting what your High Priest has written on the topic.
