When a Boy Becomes a Man

A lot of us here have problems with family. We choose to walk a path that many see as demonic and evil. Some of us foolishly want to share this path with our loved ones and it always ends in hate towards us.

I wrote this poem because my mother hates what I've become. She see all that hates in men, in me. Its a poem for her to remove the stigma.

Losing control makes you angry
Telling yourself I need saving
This is not a church
There no need to search
For a devil that needs taming

I am not a boy
That's a past you can enjoy
When all I cared about was a new toy
I am man
I have no choice but to stand
To explore the world and fully understand

So look within
Go where the darkness begins
You're afraid that your heart will dim
You have so much more power than him
