We Satanist need to be more understanding of each other

I am concerned that some people put people down because they cant spell, Or some of their posts seem childish. Is this attitude healthy, for people who put down those who can't spell i got a question for you. Are you their English teacher? Remember this site is not restricted for US and Europe only its for the world to see. And not all countries speak English.If they cant spell properly or their punctuation is wrong it doesn't matter at least people can understand it its OK. I pity raven for people who condemn and make fun of him because he can't spell well. And for people who post childish comments don't put them down instead correct them. They have put some effort and thought into it. Even if its not the most smartest or logical at least they tried and its your chance to correct them.

I can agree UP TO A POINT. We can usually comprehend what one is trying to say/convey, however, wrong spelling in a childish post is unacceptable. Besides, if one has doubts - there are TONS of dictionaries on the net (well, if one has the possibility of posting here, it is obvious that s/he can also seek a dictionary to avoid such things). And if one is too lazy to be correct then let him or her be scowled.

I understand where you're coming from and I, for one, try my best to be supportive of those of us who have English as a second language. However, in raven's case the spelling was not so much the issue as the message itself. I mean I ripped on his English...but I wouldn't have if he'd had a positive message and only the spelling and grammar was off. Know what I mean? The context is what's really important. But I know I'm among the ones doing the flaming so I'll do my best to ease up as I do see your point.

Power without wisdom gives birth to arrogance. It's a shame that some of our people are afflicted this way. Just because people cannot spell correctly, might just be in a rush or is from another country doesn't mean we can put them down. There is no positive outcome from this.

As for the childish posts, one must take a step back and look at it for what it is. It might be someone taking the piss out of this E.group or it might actually be a legitimate question. One must think with a clear mind and must never become immersed into something too deep (satanism) otherwise they will not see things with an open mind. This is how xians are, closed minded. Only exception to this is anything xian related XD.

English as a 2nd language - the point is that some people may be more advanced in our language (I'm a Pole but I still consider English as my 1st language). And as for raven's post - yes, the content was the case, not the English itself. As for the spelling - majority of us tend to make mistakes, but you, natives and some of us are able to understand the content.

However there is a limit. Seriously, Ive seen some pretty bad typos and incorrect spelling in here, stuff that is in-exusable like spelling Satan's name wrong.

I can understand if English is not your native language, thats fine. Just be sure to let people know before your post so they don't redicule you for it. Were not asking for much, just that the post is legible.

For that matter, the majority of the people here who stumble across these posts, actually do try and correct them to there best ability.
