Was Michael Jackson's most popular costume inspired by Zé Pilintra?

Hello.

Since I've found in an esoteric store in my country some articles related to Zé Pilintra, an Afro-Brazilian spirit, I was wondering if there is any connection between his outfit and one the many Michael Jackson had in his career.

Here is an image of Zé Pilintra.

I'm asking it there because i don't know much about Zé Pilintra and I was wondering if anyone who knows more about him can explain the connection. Thanks!
 
Hi, Nimrod33. I live in Brazil and I must say that Zé Pilintra is from a jewish religion called "Umbanda".

The Umbanda followers kill animals, drink alcohol and get possed by spirits.

These spirits ( or entities ) force the person to do drugs .
