Has anyone else noticed how many companies are going under. The other day on my way to work I counted the number of manufacturing plants/warehouses that were for lease or sale, within about 3 miles there were 24. I heard the bookstore borders (which usually has bad prices anyways) is going out of business. I work for a pop company, and usually we're extremely busy in the summer but this year there were voluntary 1 week layoffs up the day after the 4th of July. I can't help but wonder what's next.

I've seen what you're talking about. Just a while ago I saw a whole line of for lease or sale company buildings. The same goes for a lot of houses.

It's Not the IRA, it's the recession. It's getting worse. There are no jobs, there is no money and. Now people are emigrating. It's kind of sad.

That sucks, its not quite that bad here yet, just lots of vacant houses and vacant buildings, while construction workers build new ones next to the vacant ones. What a stupid country I live in! You might want to get yourself a rifle of some sort while you still can, I hear lee field rifles are common and easy to get in Ireland.

And who told you??! The only "weapons" you can get in this stupid ISLAND are airsoft. Vacant house you say?! Well here, there are vacant VILLAGES!! Those idiots borrowed BILLIONS from the EU and other countries to build hundreds of houses and housing estates. Now, they can't pay it back, as they have no natural resources whatsoever! And ALL houses are empty. On the bright side, house are VERY cheap!
