Third eye seeings?

I did the meditations for the Third Eye last June, and from August, if I stare into space for a while. This sort of kalidoscope effect will happen, it's hard to describe. I can sit here and I'll see a black blackground, with swirling white circles.

But this only happens at unexpected times, sometimes it doesn't stay and at other times I can't seem to blink it off.

Is this my Third Eye?

I'll be grateful for any advice.
