Getting new clothes = transformation.

Clean clothes = purified aura.

Working wool for clothes = working on the soul

Preparation for winter = preparation for Nigredo (symbolized by winter)

This gift comes from Lord Zeus/Wodanaz/Odin, through working with Him.
