1. Most of this is new age crap and won't work because it's incomplete. There's no substitute for power meditation.
2. "The Secret" was not made by Hollywood, but by an Australian production company, the owner of which was facing imminent bankruptcy. She made this movie to avert that, using as a basis the works of Wallace Wattles of th early 20th century (work that because of its age is now in the public domain and can be downloaded for free from the Internet) that had some very good ideas which could be incorporated, but, as usual, came from a xtian perspective, so it was incomplete and, also as usual, guaranteed not to work if taken 'as is' or at face value.
3. This is the way the new age stuff works (or doesn't, would be a better choice of words): it contains SOME truths, but never enough to make it practical and workable. The new age movement was invented to be a place to go for disgruntled mainline xtians; it is of no more help than xtianity because, as I mentioned, it omits the essence of truth, i.e., the magick that works. Again, power meditation leaves this stuff where it belongs: in the dust.
4. Don't accept at face value the 'testimonials' of these people. (If they were not paid in dollars for their testimonials, they certainly were paid in publicity for their endless 'seminars'). Have you ever noticed, incidentally, how many of these 'gurus' are around? And that 'if you shell out thousands of your own hard-earned dollars, I will show you how to be rich'? Right. They ARE rich, often multi-millionaires, built on these seminars, books, 'intensives' (whatever those are) and other marketing ploys -- all garnered because the gullible paid the asked for thousands of dollars. Not that some good ideas can't be gleaned from these events, but they are never the whole picture. And what is more, as is true from everything "new age" it operates on a blame-the-victim mentality. They have an easy out for their methods not working, i.e. "it's all your fault."
5. There's much more to attracting whatever it is you desire than 'putting in an order' and doing nothing else (again: power meditation. I don't like to keep harping on that, but it's the truth AND IT WORKS!) Who can know for sure how much of these testimonials is entirely true, how much has been omitted, or added ... remember the source!
6. The New Age Movement SUCKS! Never forget for a moment that it's only xtianity in a new wrapper, all designed with slavery as it's raison d'etre.
Hope that helps a little ...

Recently my mother rented The Secret and so I watched it. Its about the law of attraction and people's experiences and stuff. Basically I already knew most of these things, this documentary only confirms it. Now I have a few questions: Has anyone seen it? And why would The Jewish-owned Hollywood make a documentary to make people's lives better? Can you possibly become a millionaire by using the law of attraction? As in the film, a poor guy who decided to use these methods...became a millionaire. Whats your take on this?
