to do.
1. Go into a trance, and focus on your Serpent.
2. Feel the Serpent fuse it's thoughts with your thoughts.
Thinking in a Risen Stage
While the procedure is the same as in the Awakened stage, it becomes
extraordinarily simpler to preform correctly, in fact a lot of the time you will
not even need to be in a trance. Especially after the Rising, the Serpent will
naturally overpower your thoughts.
Note: you will likely not understand the Serpent's thoughts for a while
because it thinks on a higher and much more elevated level then we are
used to thinking.

I am not Maxine, but from what I have learned so far I can say that the general consensus of the first paragraph is correct, though very poorly explained, thus making it sound incorrect. 

The Kundalini is a part of the true self, the true self is your most powerful consciousness. 

When you reach the godhead you leave behind the mortal being and ascend to the divine. 
The divine becomes one with you and you become one with the divine, you ascend the mortal being and enter the realm of divinity. 

This process takes time and as you advance yourself on this path aspects of the true self and aspects of the divine will start to emerge as you advance. The Kundalini is the divine within all of us. 
When the Kundalini rises and our chakra's are open the true self also awakens within your conscious mind.

This true self is your divine consciousness, it is you, but a complete you. 

The serpent does not have a mind of it's own, but the true self does, it has the mind of the divine that is within you. It is not a seperate personality, but rather your root personality is a small part of the divine consciousness. When awakening the Kundalini this divine alse awakens and you start to become the true self over a period of time. 

This can be percieved as though you are connecting to a force which has thoughts of it's own, but it is not. 

You don't go insane if you don't do everything to the beneft of the serpent in your life, but rather if you don't awaken properly and start regressing or stop meditating this can create psychological problems. 
If you just advance yourself daily there is nothing that can go wrong with your sanity. 

The thinking with the serpent part doesn't work like that. When you do this it is not the mind of the serpent but rather the divine consciousness which you are connecting with. 

It is better to simply open your chakra's, especially your upper chakra's, such as the third eye, the sixth chakra and the crown. Also the clairvoyant and clairaudient chakra's. 
This will awaken the divine consciousness and you start to become as the true self the more open these chakra's are. 

When falling into a trance it allows you to connect with the feminine part of the brain, by turning off the masculine part. The masculine part takes care of logical thinking and the feminine is the seat of consciousness, the creativity and the driving force behind the masculine part of the brain. 

The true self or divine consciousness awakens on it's own as you develop. When the true self awakens completely the feminine and masculine sides of the brain and consciousness can work together simultaneously. It is not necessary anymore to go into a trance because you are the consciousness and the subconsciousness. The logical thinking and intuition work in perfect harmony at that point and the root personality evolves into the true personality. 

It is not the serpent which "overpowers" your thoughts, but it is your divine self which you become that thinks on a higher level and has an understanding of most everything which is hard to comprehend when you are not connected to the divine consciousness. This part also allows you to see through allogories and understand the greate meaning behind the messages left by the ancients. 

In the ancient civilizations everyone was one with the divine and this concept was well understood, for it was normal. Now however because of the spiritual degeneration that gentile humanity has undergone under the tyranny of the enemy we have been cut of of the divine completely. This includes the divine consciousness and the divine being. 

All the meditations we have been given by Satan are to teach us how to become one with the Divine once more, which is what he intended for us. The magnum Opus allows one to once again become the divine that lies deep within his being. The foundation for this is within our DNA, our soul and our subconsciousness. 
The various aspects of these start to emerge when we advance which can bring about big changes in yourself and how you percieve the world around you.

When not under the protection of Satan people who start undergoing these changes are mercilessly attacked by the enemy and often end up with phychological problems. Some go insane because of it. However this is not because of the Kundalini or any part of your own being, this is because of the harrasment of the enemy. 
I have experienced this myself before I found out about the JOS and dedicated.
