'Energy is neither created nor destroyed but transformed from one form to another' This is absolutely true. When we create thoughtforms (I have discovered that some core beliefs are actually very well established thoughtforms probably enhanced over lifetimes) we form them on the astral through the Akashic material. This material is already infinite and is the source of all forms. Another name for it is The-Source-Of-All-Things. Since this material is already infinite, it is then obvious how we create thoughtforms. What we are actually doing is we are 'molding' an extract of this infinite material into what we desire. We are able to do this because we are formed from the very same material of which all the elements are, the Akasha/Quintessence. This is what some people have labeled as 'god', since it is infinite and perfect, it is the building block of time and space and is the source from which everything came from. Every thought of and every physical manifestation has the Akashic material in it. The four elements are actually the only products of the Akashic material. As has been already stated, Akasha/Quintiessence gave birth to Fire and Water, which in turn gave birth to Air and Earth. Fire (+) and Water (-), Air (+) and Earth (-). Now let us take Fire and Water, they are both the same thing but the opposite polarities of it (the origin of the Masculin and the Feminine), Fire cannot exist without Water and vice-versa as with Air and Earth. Fire and Water, Air and Earth are all dependant on each other, one cannot exist without the other, and the only reason for this is due to the existence of the Akashic material from which these elements came from. This is how the Akashic material holds all the elements together. Since the Akashic material holds the 4 elements together, therefore it is the material that holds ALL forms together. Most things have the four elements in them. Take the Earth for example, it is formed of primordially Akasha, and then: - Fire: mostly everything underneath the Earth's crust - Water: The oceans and seas - Air: The atmosphere - Earth: The lands, etc... Simlarly, the soul is composed of the four elements. Obviously it was formed primarily of the Akasha of which the two polarities of Masculine and Feminine were formed, the Left side and the Right side of the soul. Here are the elements: - Fire: The will (the serpent) - Water: The emotions - Air: Thought - Earth: Physical instinct and mental groundedness And since the Akashic material does hold all these together, therefore the Akashic principle at the level of the soul is the "Awareness" of the 4 elements.
