Well these dumbasses killed a family member trying to exorcise a demon via basically waterboarding.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (June 13) - A New Zealand jury has found five New Zealanders guilty of the manslaughter of a family member during an exorcism ceremony to drive a "makutu" or Maori curse from the woman. Nine family members of the victim, Janet Moses, 22, performed an exorcism on her in October 2007, forcing water into her mouth and eyes to flush out demons and lift the makutu.
Moses drowned and a 14-year-old girl the group also believed was possessed suffered serious eye injuries as people picked at the demons they saw in them, the High Court hearing was told.
As the verdicts were read out in the courtroom in the capital, Wellington, late Friday, family and supporters openly wept.
Three of the nine defendants were found not guilty and a fourth was discharged for lack of evidence.

LOL Eh, talk about a coincidence, "Moses" died from his lungs being FLOODED ROFL.

These Christians are a sick joke on humanity.. WATER BOARDING to get a demon out.. C'mon, that's a torture method used for victims that refuse to talk, that and it seems a bit like the inquisition.. You know I am increasingly becoming aware of their typical antics; its always torture and suffering.. Good thing the internet is as is today. I think it also helps maintain their power on a municipal scale otherwise, I bet that would have been dealt with quietly..

But man slaughter, you've got to be kidding. There should be a fourth type of murder sentencing because, you have to notice especially when water boarding the person screaming, gasping for air and choking on the water. Not to mention her fighting for her life to stop the ridiculous antics out of fear for her life.. NINE people helped with the exorcism so I bet most of them were pinning her down. They're all guilty I would personally say that, that death could have been prevented if they just could have THOUGHT FOR THEMSELVES..

I don't think these people were xtian, it just doesn't sound like an xtian ritual. They said they were performind a Makutu to drive out a Maori curse, this is stuff practices by natives of New Zealand. Regardless, these primitives are fucking retarded and should learn to embrace modern scientific society.

I am also from New Zealand and I find this just as stupid as Xian exorcisms.

The Maori belief system was very clean and nature friendly much like paganism until the filth of Xianity invaded New Zealand in the 1800s.
Now it is warped with the beliefs of the Maori being mixed and contaminated with the beliefs of Xianity.

How the fuck is there "demons" when from the Maori point of view, the origin of Earth was of a Earth Mother and Sky Father being stuck together and were pushed apart by their sons living in-between them? Smells like Xian influence to me.
