About the Dumbest thing you can with your time and money is to be a smoker.
I used to smoke cigarettes. I was spending about $175 Per Month on that crap. I would wake up, get my coffee and go straight outside to smoke. I would smoke another one before I got dressed for work. I would get in the car, buckle my seat belt and light another one, roll down my window and then start driving. I would smoke another one on the way to work. I would smoke two at my first break of the day, two at lunch, two at my last break of the day, two on the way home, and another Four or Five before I would go to bed.
Sometimes I couldn't sleep and would go outside one more time for a cigarette.

Besides, cancer sticks are a waste of money. When you waste money on things that create negative value, you are effectively doing a negative money working. They ruin your health, they invite angels (weed also does this; psychiatric drugs from the pharmacy are even worse), they waste time to go out and smoke them, and they can burn your house down. I have seen people wasting 5 minutes to stop their work (including time to resume) and another 5 minutes to smoke their damn cancer stick. Every 30-45 minutes.
At today's prices, I can think of what I can get with the money I don't waste on cancer sticks. Two or three packs buys one string of LED Christmas lights. Something like 25 cancer sticks buys one CREE LED light bulb, 60 watt equivalent, so I will not be stuck with a kike bulb. Two cancer sticks buys one music download, legally. A week of smoking a pack a day buys one Fenix LD22 flashlight; slightly more than a pack buys 4 Sanyo Eneloop batteries, and 5 packs (or slightly more) buys a 16-bay charger. It costs me about 7 packs of cancer sticks' worth for a Fenix HP11 headlight, for a blackout. It takes slightly more than 2 packs of cancer sticks to buy one 1 troy ounce round of silver.
Then, after I spent my money on alternative things, I am set to enjoy things or in the event of an emergency. The Fenix LD22 is a one-up purchase, and I am set for blackouts while at the mall or in a store. My Fenix HP11 (I also have two Fenix HP20 and one HP25) is good for when I am at work, and the lights go out and the generator goes dead. My Christmas lights provide great general illumination (and are nice to look at), in lieu of kike bulbs. (And so do the CREE light bulbs, when I need more light in a local area). Given that kikes are ban-happy, I never know when LED light bulbs will be banned to force us to use kike bulbs--and I have my stash. As for hyperinflation, I placed most of my toilet paper based savings into silver which I keep.
Which sure beats the shit out of ruining my health.
