Understand that it was just a phase and from now on you will understand better if a guy is good loving material or not.

You should vibrate MUNKA mantra. With affirmations. But affirmations won't matter when you already have a decision and KNOW in the back of your mind WHY you are actually doing this working. 
Instead of visualising and cutting ties from the person from your chakras (it is advanced meditation) you should rather perform this MUNKA working. Start from Saturday on a waning moon when moon is not void. In this case, your will must be stronger to detach.

If you do this without a desire to detach and without strong emotions, and strong will to detach then I believe any working or meditation will be useless. You must have a definite desire and will to move on. But nevertheless this mantra should work.
