Am i the only one who feels like the group has been raid by a lot of newbies and completely ignorant people lately?

It's annoying but at the same time good (if you ask me), we would win a lot of new people if we spend some time answering their questions, no matter how stupid or repetitive they are.

So i personally say let's put a bit more effort answering them, and not "scare" them away. I'm pretty sure we all have been ignorant once (the level varies from person to another), so i think every human being has the ability to get to our levels of knowledge (again, stating the obvious here. The amounts of effort invested in ignorant people varies according to how ignorant they are).
Nevertheless we should all try.

oxarac yes I did see it has been flooded, but honestly, there are 100s topics on this thing of which at least 20 show up on the front page. If you are new and just subscribed it'd only make sense if you looked through some of the topics first rather than making a trillion different posts on the same thing about how ignorant you are or have been.

Also if you did go on the website first it'd only make sense that you at least did read some part of it and did not go straight to the e-groups.

It does seem a bit odd to get hordes all of the sudden.. hm..

I completely agree with you, i guess some can't think straight, or at all.

Plus it seems some people stumble on this group before finding the website. Yes, it's linked in the description of this group. But again, some just can't think straight. I guess people are used to skip all the information and rush things up (just like how everyone skips readying the terms and conditions when they're signing up for something. which is stupid if you ask me)

If i remember correctly, one of the Admins of this group (assuming there are more than one) posted an update on this occurrence about 2 weeks ago, saying these stupid questions were intentionally allowed to pass through in a large numbers for some reason.

I don't know though, i still stand up with my words. I still think we should make an effort answering these boring, repetitive questions and hope some would join us in this war.
