hello everyone, id like to share a story that i inadvertently heard today. on my way home from a cross country meet (im not a runner although i wish i was, im more of a statistician) i heard my aunt talking on the phone. it would appear that her stepdaughter is going to a christian school for i believe 6th grade (this is in Pennsylvania by the way) now in my area of PA almost everyone is catholic and she is no different. this catholic schools requires a large tuition to be paid (although im not sure how much) and is to be paid in full before the year begins. this school is giving my step/cousin a 90 day probation period in which if they believe she doesnt fit in she can be kicked out, with no refund on the money already paid. the nun that is the head of this school (st marys i believe) said that they want absolutely no disruptions from an outcast student that does not belong in their building. the want no part of her if she doesnt fit in and she will be removed if she doesnt. now pardon my language as i know but, what the fuck? my cousin is being told by a catholic nun of the christian faith that are supposedly so damn nice that if they dont think she fits in, shes gone, good riddance, ciao, hasta la vista, bye and dont come back. this is proof of the bullshit that is christianity. takin money and then telling your child they dont belong. i think this is being rather two faced and as is traditional for christians, theyre being lying cheating bastards...any thoughts/comments/questions?

Most catholics are like that, I should know
I used to be catholic more or less and was disgusted even as a kid by
how 2-faced that particular group can be.

I think the best word for this would be "typical."

Did you really laugh at that? Or was it more of a bitter scoff?

in all honesty it was more of a chuckle than a full blown laugh, but for the sake of the topic title i put laugh. i really do pity my cousin she is a very introverted person and is at the moment at a delicate state due to what is happening in her life right with her family. her mother threatened her if she didnt return home (her father has married my aunt) and was told if she didnt live as soon as she could she would never speak to her again. now if my poor cousin were to be kicked out of this school she could very well return to another, if not extremely bad, depression. i wish to help her but alas im not quite sure what to do for her
