something strange happened to me the other day

last weekend i was hanging out with a few of my friends. we were going all over my friends neighbor hood (i'll be honest with you guys, i was looking to buy some weed) while on our search we came to a group of people that were hanging out in a tree fort. while we were there one of the guys there goes hey come look at our zip-line. He gets on the zip line goes across after explaining it to us, then my friend goes across. both of them come out ok and nothing happens. i get on and go up 15 feet, more or less, and jump off to do the zip line thing. basically i jumped out of a tree and fell 15 feet missed a very large rock by less then 3 feet and got up with nothing more then a scratched arm. Is that at all possible or was i being watched? my friends (who are spiritual) kept telling me i should have died or at least broken something, but i didnt...
that kind of scares me a little, not that i almost died (thats just plain cool ^.^) but the fact that i didnt break anything. what... i dont want to ask whats wrong with me but i want to know how that could have happened... can anyone help me understand this please?

I was watching this footage on t.v. And this dude went sky diving and his parachute didnt deploy. He hit the ground and he got up unscathed... It was truly awsome.
