Hello, I read the section about the Satanic Rosary and I was quite
disappointed because it says that if you skip one day only, all progress
will be lost and will have to start again. On the 19th I swear I had no
free time and day 25 I was caught in the act and stopped when I did the
fourth statement, after Thurisaz. So my question is what is says on the
section of the Rosary it always and in this case also.
This is precisely why a shorter option is needed. No, it is best if you
finish the full 40 day ritual. But, having the option to do a shorter
ritual, or to transform an attempted 40 day ritual into a shorter
version (albeit less powerful) would encourage more to attempt it.
Plus, if one is unable to finish because of disruptions, it wouldn't be
a total loss. It is understood that a full 40 days is necessary for
full impact--however, trying a 9-day working would encourage more to
participate. And if they get reasonable results with that, it might
encourage them later to do the full 40 days later.
I understand that no, you cannot simply add up consecutive 9-day
workings to add up to a full 40 day working unless you do not skip days
between workings (you start another working the very next day after the
first 9-day working). Also, you would be dealing with void of course
moon each time you start (if you do the long version, you only worry
about void of course moon once). But, the question that needs answering
is whether it is possible to do shorter workings, albeit they wouldn't
be as powerful as doing the full version.
